The SPIT-FOG® NOZZLE is a fire fighting water mist nozzle designed for use coupled up to either a fire engine or a fire fighting system.
It is particularly well suited to fighting fires in confined spaces and for use on burning liquids or on high heat output fires.
Unlike conventional nozzles, the SPIT-FOG® sprays fine water droplets, considerably reducing water damage.
This nozzle is used to fight the seat of a fire effectively and features extremely high cooling capability on structures and hot fumes.
The nozzle creates a plume of mist that can be directed to treat 8 metres zones in the case of the 110 l/minute nozzle.
Furthermore, the nozzle holder can activate a water mist screen that protects the nozzle itself against radiated heat.

• It features cooling and radiated heat absorption capabilities that are better than those delivered by conventional nozzles.
• It operates at low pressure (from 10 bar). It can be connected direct to a fire engine.
• The low mechanical effect generated by the fine water mist droplets limits damage to the equipment being protected and also splashing from burning liquid.
• Water mist reduces thermal shock.
• The nozzle is equipped with a manual system for discharging metal or sand particles inherent to mains or storage water quality.
